WUT is the oldest and the largest university of technology in Poland, established in 1826. Nowadays WUT is ranked as the best Polish university of technology distinguished by outstanding scientific and educational achievements. More than 32 000 students  and about 1200 Ph.D. students study at 19 Faculties and the College of Administration and Social Science. A guarantee of their success is the highly qualified staff – almost 2500 teachers (including nearly 570 Professors and Associate Professors) conduct research in almost all areas of technology and also some non-technical disciplines. Relevant facilities and equipment make it possible to carry out a wide scope of studies and also remain involved in many specializations of research. The university has 38 buildings for teaching and research activities, including 320 research and educational laboratories. An IT system and access to an extensive library included electronic database support students’ and academic staff’s activity. A new streamline of studies, introduced a few years ago, are the distance learning studies, conducted via the Internet. Similarly, Ph.D. studies run in the work-based learning mode will be launched in 2009/2010. These will be offered to the global candidates. To ensure the possibility of specializing and updating knowledge and skills, postgraduate courses are organized for those who already hold university degrees. WUT currently offers more than 90 of such programs. The programs particularly popular, are the MBA studies run by the WUT Business School. The WUT courses are organized according to the Bologna regulations – in a three-level system: first level courses – leading to a B.Sc. degree in engineering or an equivalent degree, second level courses – leading to an M.Sc. degree in engineering and other areas, and third level courses leading to a Ph.D. degree.

Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME)

The institution was founded in 1782 by Austrian emperor Joseph II. Nowadays the university functions under the supervision of the Hungarian State. The executive functions are carried out by the University Senate and the Rector. BME has 8 faculties: Architecture, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Economic and Social Sciences, Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Mechanical Engineering, Natural Sciences, Transportation. It is one of the largest Hungarian higher education institution (cca. 24000 students, 1300 academic staff), approx. 70% of engineers graduates here. BME belongs to the 5 Hungarian Research Universities declared by the Hungarian Government in 2010. Several Nobel Prize laureates have been associated with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics: Dennis Gábor (physics), Eugene Wigner (physics), György Oláh (chemistry). Notable personalities have also studied or taught at BME: John von Neumann, the inventor of the computer, Edward Teller, nuclear physicist, Leo Szilárd, known for his work on nuclear chain reactions, Marcell Breuer, architect, Theodore von Kármán, aerodynamic scientist, Ernő Rubik, inventor of the famous cube.

The Budapest University of Technology and Economics offers higher educational training on different levels (2, 3, 5, 8 years). The Bologna type education (B. Sc, M. Sc, Ph. D) has been fully introduced from 2006. Besides Hungarian there are training programs in English, French, German as well. BME has important international relations and is an active participant of different international programs (mainly European, e.g. Erasmus), but it has good contacts with several American, Asian universities as well. The Czech Technical University is Prague (CTU) is the oldest technical university in Central Europe, and the largest in the Czech Republic. The university was founded in 1707, and nowadays has over 23 000 students. Study programmes are offered in a wide range of fields of engineering, as well as architecture, management and economics. Research is a critically important aspect of the university’s work. There are 1 800 full-time and part-time PhD students, and all bachelor and master level students are required to work on projects and present their findings. Most of the fields of engineering that seem particularly attractive and important at the beginning of the 21st century are strongly represented at CTU, for example, computing, robotics, automatic, control, materials engineering, biomedical engineering, environmental engineering, telecommunications. Dublin Institute of Technology - DIT

The Dublin Institute of Technology was established as an autonomous institution under the DIT Act in 1992, but its origins go back to 1887 and the establishment of technical education in Ireland. The Institute continues to build on its long and proud tradition of providing education to the highest levels. There are 22,000 students, including over 10,000 fulltime students and 1,200 international students, 4000 graduates every year, 1,800 staff, including 900 academics. DIT awards its own higher certificates, degrees at Bachelor (Ordinary and Honours), Master of Science (MSc) and Engineering (ME) by taught modules and minor dissertation, Master of Philosophy (MPhil) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) by research levels, Professional Doctorate as well the title of Professor which are recognised worldwide. There are 85 full-time and 200 part-time courses. DIT has developed alliances with HEIs, nationally and internationally, and with key stakeholders, e.g. public agencies, businesses and companies, international organisations, which support our strategic mission and add value to our educational and research priorities. DIT has embarked on a benchmarking exercise to identify peer ‘technological universities’, and have initiated discussions with the Australian Technology Network (ATN). Membership of EUA, EARMA, OECD, DEAN/HUMANE and the Magna Charta Universitatum are vital for improving performance and identifying partnerships. DIT’s strategic alliance with the Health Service Executive and Dublin City Council aims to ‘create a highly sustainable urban campus at Grangegorman with the capacity to develop strong links with other knowledge sector engines located elsewhere in the city centre’. Times Higher Education Supplement (THES) – QS, World University Rankings 2009 ranks DIT at 326 and Faculty of Engineering at 281 positions. The results of the Sunday Times analysis placed Dublin Institute of Technology at the top of the league table as the ‘Best Institute of Technology’ in Ireland. DIT also ranked very highly based on specific criteria, including best student/staff ratio (second place), and the fact that over 55% of DIT students achieve a first or a 2.1 award. DIT has research partnerships with universities and corporations around the world including Europe, Asia and the Americas. A core element to the success of the internationalisation of DIT is the allocation of resources to the establishment and maintenance of collaborative links with partner institutions worldwide. DIT is a member of the Dublin Region Higher Education Alliance (DRHEA), and the Dublin Creative Alliance. DIT views both initiatives as critical to maximising research/teaching capability.

As one among the best higher education and research institutions in France, the Ecole Centrale de Nantes founded in 1919, is a member of the Ecoles Centrales Group (ECG) along with the Ecoles Centrales Lille, Lyon, Marseille, and Paris, with more than 6,500 students in Engineering Sciences.Centrale Nantes is a founding member of the regional Pôle de Recherche et d’Enseignement Supérieur labelled by the French State (PRES) together with 3 multidisciplinary universities in Western France (Nantes, Angers, and Le Mans). Together the 4 Higher Education Institutions – HEIs – welcome more than 50,000 students. Understanding the importance of international experience, Centrale Nantes has made a minimum stay abroad mandatory for all its home students. Within their engineering curriculum, 100% ECN students leave the School for either a Double-Degree (DD / 2 years abroad) or 1 or 2 exchange semesters. Some of them leave for an international Doctorate. 200 home or host students are enrolled every year in the Double Degree – DD programmes with European and non-European university partners. Centrale Nantes privileges its participation in the development of the European area as a major asset of its international policy, by meeting the expectations of European projects such as ERASMUS, TEMPUS, and by enforcing the principles of compatibility, comparability, and competitivity with other regions.

The University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU)

The Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao was founded in 1897 and joined the newly created University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU in 1980, which is now composed of 31 faculties and colleges geographically distributed in three campuses with over 40,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students, out of which about 4000 study at our Faculty of Engineering.  The UPV/EHU is the leading university in the Basque Country and the north of Spain. The UPV/EHU manages different mobility programs mainly concerning European and American (north and south) partners, as well as several Asian ones (LLP Erasmus, America Latina, SICUE, LAE3, GE3, ASE3 ...) . In the last academic year it has managed about 800 outgoing students and 500 incoming students, 15% of which corresponded to the Faculty of Engineering, which is the most  active and experienced in this field, with more than 100 international exchange agreements with universities all over the world, being a member of the network GE4 (Global Education for European Engineers and Entrepreneurs). UPV/EHU has been the leader of an ERASMUS MUNDUS External Cooperation Window 13/09 Lot 20b with Central American countries, currently in operation and has also taken part in TEMPUS, LEONARDO, UE/Canada, ALFA programmes. The Spanish Ministry of Education has awarded to our University the  "International Campus of Excellence" recognition and funding. The International Relations Office manages the incoming and outgoing students. At the same time, all faculties have an academic coordinator, as well as administrative staff to support these students.

About the University of Trento

Over its 50 years of history, the University of Trento has been known for its propensity towards international relations and mobility and for the quality of its research and education offer. These features have led the University of Trento to reach prominent positions in national and international university rankings.

The figures describing the University - 16.000 students and about 600 professors and researchers - mirror the capacity of the University to offer an ideal environment to boost studies and research, through services designed on the needs of individual users.

The 10 Departmentsand the 3 centresare structured in 54 degree courses(undergraduate and master programmes), many first and second level professional master courses and life-long learning courses. Further the University includes 2 Advanced Training Schools and 13 Doctoral courses. Considering the small size of the University, this is an impressive range of offered opportunities.

The University is organized in 3 main locations. The Departments of Sociology and Social Research– hosting the School on Local Development – Departments of Economics and Management, Humanities, the Faculty of Lawand the School of International Studiesare located in the historical city centre. The EU programme Erasmus Mundus and the Atlantis project between the EU and the USA, the double degree programme and the LLP-Erasmus programme offer many opportunities to study and carry out research abroad. The University also cooperates with extra European countries, through bilateral agreements and the consortia in which the University participates. Since 2002, the University of Trento has been the Italian site of the Italian-German University, the international institute for the promotion of inter-university cooperation between Italy and Germany.

Everything is within reach and easily accessible in Trento: libraries, university canteens, laboratories, cultural activities and specialized services. The University of Trento offers 5 libraries, open even during the evening, with IT rooms equipped with PCs and a laptop PC services. The University also operates its own Language Learning Centre with extensive and intensive courses in 7 foreign languages, as well as courses in Italian for foreigners.

Study grants, university canteens, accommodation, sports centres are only some of the services and facilities provided by the University Guild (Opera Universitaria), which is the provincial body in charge of the right to education.

The Belarussian National Technical University is the oldest educational, scientific,  innovative centre of  Belarus, leading engineering educational and methodological and scientific and industrial centre of higher educational school of the Republic of Belarus which is striving for strengthening its positions in the system of higher engineering education as a modern educational, methodological research complex. In March, 2006 the Belarussian National Technical University was awarded with the status as the leading engineering higher education institution of  the Commonwealth of Independent  States (CIS). The Belarussian National Technical University (BNTU) has a community of more than 800 international students who have come from over 40 countries worldwide. The University has been welcoming international students onto its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for many years and values the academic and cultural contribution they make to the University.    

The international component is of great significance in the activity of the Belarussian National  Technical University (BNTU).  We consider that learning and research around the globe should be open to all people. In this connection our University is creating all the possibilities by means of international cooperation. So we are proud of the fact that our institution is a full and associate member of such prestigious and reputable international organizations as UNESCO - United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, IAU - International Association of Universities, EUA - European University Association, IAESTE -  International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, SEFI  - European Society for Engineering Education, FISITA - International Federation of Automotive Engineers, EAEC – European Automobile Engineers Cooperation, FIB – International Federation of Concrete and others. So it is quite natural that the Belarussian National Technical University is continuously involved in a great number of various educational and research international projects and programs.  In 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 our University participated in the EUA Quality Culture Projects I and II which were aimed at contributing to the development and embedding of a systematic and coherent quality culture in universities as well as to the general goals of the Bologna Process and the Lisbon objectives through increased transparency and attractiveness of European higher education. During the first stage of the Project our partners were the following European higher educational institutions: University of Bergen (Norway – coordinator of the EAU Quality Culture Project I), University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia), Brunel University (London, UK), Technische Universitat Braunschweig (Germany), Karl Adamiecki University of Economics (Katowice, Poland), University of Pitesti (Romania), University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), University of Rijeka (Croatia).  The second part of the EAU Quality Culture Project II was carried out in close cooperation with four Universities, namely: K.U.Leuven Association embracing 14 higher educational institutions (Belgium -  coordinator of the EAU Quality Culture Project II), University of Vienna (Austria), University of West Bohemia (Czech Republic), University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia).

At present Brest State Technical University is one of the largest educational and scientific centers in the western part of Belarus, carrying out specialists’ training for the national economy.
Brest State Technical University undertakes research into important areas of construction, architecture, electronics, mechanical engineering, economy and ecology and offers more than thirty degree courses. There are 10 328 students (4975 full-time and 3469 part-time students) studying at 8 faculties comprised of 33 departments: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics Electronic Information Systems, Water Supply Systems and Soil Conservation, Economics, Innovation, Management and Finance, Extra-Mural Studies, Preparatory and the Institute of Further Education and Retraining. The University offers 24 undergraduate courses, 8 graduate courses and 14 postgraduate ones.
The scientific potential of the University includes 17 professors 14 doctors of science, 125 associate professors and 146 candidates (Ph.D.) and experienced academic teachers. The total number of academic staff is 681.
The institution is committed to developing its reputation as a provider of high quality teaching. It aims to fulfill its responsibility for the educational needs of Brest Region, and to maintain and develop cooperation with other institutions both within Belarus and beyond. Thus, participation of the BrSTU in the Project will enable the university to enhance its level of internationalization.

Moldova

Technical University of Moldova is the only higher education institution in the Republic of Moldova offering engineering programmes. The university was set up in 1964. It is subordinated to the Ministry of Education. It is accredited by the Ministry of Education.
TUM comprises 10 faculties: "Power Engineering", "Engineering and Management in Machine Building", "Engineering and Management in Mechanics", "Computers, Informatics and Microelectronics", "Radioelectronics and Telecommunications", "Technology and Management in Food Industry", "Textile Industry", "Cadastre, Geodesy and Constructions", "Urbanism and Architecture", "Economic Engineering and Business". The teaching staff includes about 840 professors, and about 19000 students are enrolled at present. Since 2005 the educational process is structured in three cycles according to the Bologna Process: Bachelor, Master and Doctoral studies. In 2008 the Doctoral School was set up which goal is to ensure the quality and transparency in the organization and unfolding of the doctoral studies, thus contributing to the maintenance of the quality of research.         
TUM offers programmes in about 80 specialties and specializations, preparing engineers for almost all branches of the national economy. University studies at TUM are organized on the basis of the European System of Transferable Academic Credits (ECTS).
In some departments all subjects are taught in a foreign language. Two Francophone Departments "Informatics" and "Food Technologies" offer programmers in French. The Anglophone Department "Computer Sciences and Electronics" offers programmers in English. The students with good knowledge of foreign languages have the opportunity to attend courses in universities from EU countries, USA, Canada, etc. The best students continue their studies at Master's and Doctor’s levels in these countries.         
TUM students do their practice at state and private enterprises in our country, according to the bilateral contracts or in other countries: Romania, Russia, Ukraine, France, Germany, USA, Canada, England (UK), Belgium, Slovakia, etc.         
TUM has an International Department coordinating the international cooperation activity and also the student exchanges. TUM has participated in 19 Tempus projects in university management, curriculum development, master studies included, creation of new institutional structures, individual mobility of the academic staff and partly of the master students. In some of these projects, TUM has been the co-ordinating institution. Recently TUM is partner in three Tempus projects. The Technical University of Moldova holds over 60 bilateral agreements with universities from Europe, Canada, and USA.         
Research is an important part of the university activity. Students also take active part in scientific investigations, improving their knowledge. TUM research teams have been involved in research projects  funded under INTAS programme, FP7, INCO-COPERNICUS, SCOPES, CRDF USA, Moldovan Research and Development Association, NATO Scientific Division, etc.

National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute” (NTUU “KPI”) is one of the oldest and largest technical universities in Europe. It was founded in 1898. NTUU “KPI” is famous for its academic excellence and leading innovative research.

NTUU “KPI” ranks first nationally, and is world recognized in the number of graduate academic and research programs in the top ten in their field. 40 500 students study at 29 University Colleges. NTUU “KPI” has drawn 1 500 students from all over the world. Our students receive the highest level of education provided by the Academic and Research staff of the University. There are fifty-eight Academicians and ten thousand Professors and Researchers among its active faculty. National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' ranks first nationally, and is world recognized in the number of graduate programs. NTUU “KPI” was founded in 1898. Since 1898, NTUU “KPI” remains one of the best technical universities in Europe famous for its academic excellence and innovative research. National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' is a leading University in Ukraine in the following areas of science, research and development: information technologies, system analysis and management; electronics, radio engineering and communications; material science and mechanical engineering; navigation and control systems; metrology and measurement technologies; electrical engineering and energy saving; power engineering and power generating technologies; instrument manufacture and measurement technologies;  ecology;  chemical technology and chemical engineering.

University’s Research and Development are accomplished at 13 Scientific and Research Institutes, 14 Scientific and Research Centers, 1 Special Design Laboratory, Technopark 'Kyivska Polytechnica', 20 Scientific Departments and 9 Institutes. National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute” (KhAI) named by N.Ye. Zhukovskiy is the only engineering University in Ukraine providing full cycle of higher education in the field of aviation and aerospace science.

Founded in 1930, University has already prepared more than 60 thousand engineers for aerospace industry of Ukraine, former Soviet Union and other countries. Today KhAI has more than 12 000 students, 800 teachers, 1200 researchers, and more than 2000 employees. 75% of teachers have got academic titles of Professors and Associate Professors, scientific PhD and Dr.Sc. degrees. At present KhAI provides training of students on 50 major subjects at its 45 chairs. KhAI is a member of International Association of Universities IAU/UNESCO and globally recognised research centre.  KhAI is associated member of European Aeronautic Science Network (www.easn.net) and associate partner of PEGASUS partnership of European Aeronautic and Space Universities  ( http://www.pegasus-europe.org )

Historically the following areas are among top priorities for KhAI:

1)            Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering including aerodynamic and fluid dynamic, structures design, strength analysis and FEM simulation, as well as development, testing and maintenance of aircraft, spacecrafts, satellites and their components.

2)            Manufacturing Sciences for both metallic and composite structures production and assembly aimed on         process efficiency increasing via utilization of up-to-date CAD/CAM/CAE systems capabilities.

3)            Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications including development and exploitation of automated control systems based on the fault-tolerant or adaptive algorithms, etc.

4)            Informatics, Computer Science and their use for design and manufacturing problems solving, technology-enhanced learning, civil and medical application, etc.

University stuff is deeply involved in international teaching and research activity together with academic and industrial partners from Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Greece, Israel, USA, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, China etc. KhAI participates in educational joint projects within TEMPUS programme and collaborative research projects under EU Framework Programmes as well as in numerous bi-lateral contracts in aeronautic and space areas.

On the 15th of October 2009 Presidents and Rectors of six major aerospace-specialized universities across the world including Korea Aerospace University in South Korea, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the USA, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in China, International Space University in France, National Aviation University in Ukraine and Tashkent State Technical University in Uzbekistan signed the Letter of Intent which highlights the common interests of aerospace-specialized universities as well as the intention to establish a global network among the aerospace educators in the world.

NAU ranks as a worthy educational establishment which diploma became the evidence of quality and workmanship and was approved as competitive in many countries of the world. What is the secret of such success? Surely it lies in permanent search of new forms and methods of teaching using the most progressive forms in the training. Such a novel approach promotes continuous enhancement of contents and organization of teaching process, strengthening of scientific-pedagogical potential, upgrading of teaching facilities and infrastructure development etc. High-class training of the youth and scientific research are performed by 8 academicians and corresponding members of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 37 academicians of academies of trade sciences, 208 doctors of science, professors and 840 candidates of science and assistant professors. There are 30 winners of State Prize of Ukraine in the sphere of science and technology, 27 honoured workers of science and technology, 12 honoured workers of education, 3 honoured and 18 honorary workers of transport, honoured inventors, lawyers, economists, journalists, and workers in the field of culture.

National Aviation University was founded in 1933, when the rapid development of aviation required a great number of engineers. During its 77 years of its glorious history more than 70,000 specialists were trained there.

At present the National Aviation University is a certain educational megalopolis, pertaining 16 institutes, 10 scientific-research Institutes and centres, 20 faculties, 6 colleges, 3 lyceums and a gymnasium. The University has a huge airdrome, the unique plane hangar, radio equipment ground, aviation equipment ground, aerodynamic complex, scientific and technical library, the Arts and Culture Centre, Health and Sports Centre, a yachting and air modelling clubs, 11 hostels, recreation centre, a Health Centre with sanatorium-preventorium.

Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU) is one of the oldest academic technical schools in Europe and the first in Ukrainian lands. It was founded in November 1844 as Technical Academy. In 1877 the Technical Academy was renamed into the Polytechnic School with the rights of a higher technical educational institution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Today Lviv Polytechnic National University includes about 30 000 students, which study in 41 directions and 101 specialties. Over 185 doctors of science, professors and about 1000 candidates of science, associate professors work at the University. It consists of 16 institutes, 82 departments, a publishing house, a library, the Internet informational network. University comprises 27 academic and laboratory buildings, 3 high schools, 3 lyceums, astronomic and geodesic observatory in Shatsk, 15 halls of residence, a technological park, a sports complex consisting of two buildings, recreational camps in the Crimea, Mykolayiv region and Carpathians.

The University has wide international relations. General agreements on cooperation with more than 40 leading universities of Europe, America and Asia have been concluded. The most important among them are those with leading Polish technical universities Warsaw, Wroclaw, Rzeszow, Cracow, Silesian, and Czestochowa Universities of Technology, the Technical University of Lodz and Cracow University of Mining and Metallurgy. Cooperation according to these agreements is of a regional character international conferences are held, joint publications are published, wide exchange of students and teachers takes place. Lviv Polytechnic became a basis for establishing closer contacts between Ukrainian and Polish industrialists.

The project will be carried out by the Computer Aided Systems Department (CAD) of the Institute of Computer Science and Information Technologies. The department was founded in 1989 on the base of Department of Radio Devices’ Design and Manufacturing. 30 academics are employed at CADS. Among them: 3 professors; 15 associate professors; 5 senior lecturers and 7 assistants. The research mission of CADS Department is the research activities in the field of CAD tools development in microelectronics and Microsystems.

Scientific-research directions, which are conducted by the department staff:

·         The development of the methodology and models for Miscrosystems design and simulation;\

·         The development of CAD tools for the layout design of hybrid packages (nonregular structures): automatic and interactive placement, automatic and interactive routing, verification;

·         The development of the CAD tools for modeling and diagnosis of the IC's technological process: diffusion, oxidation, implantation, etc., statistical modeling, pattern recognition, etc;

·         The development of the CAD tools for the thermal design and simulation of microelectromechanical systems.

Donetsk National Technical University (DonNTU) is the oldest and the largest university of technology in East Ukraine – Donbass, established in 1921. It leans for support of its staff creative and scientific potential, has powerful logistics and stable traditions in engineers training. About 23 000 full time and correspondence students are trained at the University on its 60 specialities. DonNTU has highly qualified staff - over 150 professors, and about 700 assistant professors work at the University. There are 28 corresponding members and academicians of different engineering academies, 18 honoured scientists and teachers among the University staff. A number of the DNTU scientists are honored and full members of foreign scientific societies and academies. It has professors and students who are Soros' scholarship holder.
The Committee of the CRE, at its last meeting held in Bordeaux on 19 May 1999, has accepted application of DNTU for membership. Therefore the DonNTU has become a new member of the Association of European Universities (CRE). DonNTU is registered as a member of SEFI-a European engineering education association-and, as a full member of this non-governmental international organization, participates in the seminars and meetings organized by it as well as in the annual conference and meeting of the SEFI General Assembly.
DonNTU is a Contributing Member of the UNESCO International Centre for Engineering Education (UICEE). DNTU has adapted a new unified system of education degrees with qualification levels of specialist’s and master’s degrees, which makes it possible for the University to be a part of the common network of technical colleges of the EU. High quality engineers are trained here. The bronze medal awarded to the University at the IV World Conference on Engineering Education proves this. This Conference organized under the aegis of the International Liaison Group for Engineering Education(ILG-EE) in the USA attracted attention of the United Nations Organization experts and the representatives of a number of other authoritative organisations. ILG-EE holds this series of Conferences every three years. 50 world universities participated in it. Ukraine and our university was presented at the congress by Doctor of Science, Professor, Honoured scientist of Ukraine , Rector A. Minayev.
International students exchange The international position of DonNTU is also supported by the offer of studies in English, German, French and Polish.  Students who have proper knowledge in foreign languages and their speciality have a chance to be sent to study abroad. As a structural unit of Donetsk National Technical University it was founded in 1995. Its history goes back to 1970 with the foundation of Foreign Students' Training Office.

The Odessa National Polytechnic University (ONPU), one of the oldest engineering training institutions in Ukraine, was founded in 1918. During years of its existence the Odessa polytechnics contributed significantly into development of the Ukrainian and global science and technology as well as in training skilled experts for the national economy.
Twenty thousands of undergraduate, graduate employees, post-graduate students are trained here. The process being insure by personnel numbering 4 thousands lecturers, researchers and practical engineers. There are more than 120 Professors and Doctors of sciences, almost 450 Associated Professors, Ph.D., 25 honoured workers of Science & Engineering of Ukraine works in ONPU.

Donbass State Technical University is the leading institution in Donbass region. Our university was founded on October 12, 1957.

Don STU – educational establishment of the highest category, accredited to IV level, provides training of highly qualified specialists in the fields mining engineering, metallurgy, electrical mechanics, automation, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, economics, management.
